Terms of Service

CrumblyOS is software that lets you run a bakery storefront. You keep your money and you own your content — we just run the tools. You're the one selling the food, so you're responsible for it.

1. Who we are

CrumblyOS (“CrumblyOS”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Sleepy Cow Media. These terms are an agreement between us and you, the bakery owner who creates an account (“you”).

Separate terms apply to your customers. When someone buys from your storefront, that purchase is between them and you — not us. See our Cottage Food Disclaimer.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly at support@crumblyos.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Subscription and billing

CrumblyOS costs $24.99 per month. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. We collect a payment method when the trial begins, and the first charge happens when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.

  • The subscription renews monthly until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your dashboard. Cancelling stops future charges; your store stays available until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
  • We take no percentage of your sales. The monthly subscription is the only thing we charge you.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend access to store management until billing is current. Your data is not deleted during a lapse.
  • We may change the price with at least 30 days’ notice. Continuing to use CrumblyOS after a change takes effect means you accept the new price.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

4. Payments from your customers

Customer payments are processed through Stripe Connect and go directly to your own connected Stripe account. We are not a party to those transactions and do not hold your funds. Your use of Stripe is also governed by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement.

You are responsible for fulfilling orders, honouring your own pickup arrangements, and handling refunds and disputes with your customers.

5. Your content

You own your bakery name, photos, product descriptions, and customer data. You grant us a limited licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating your storefront. You confirm you have the right to use everything you upload.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use CrumblyOS to:

  • break any law, including food safety, labelling, and cottage food regulations;
  • sell anything you are not legally permitted to sell;
  • upload content you don’t have rights to, or that is misleading or harmful;
  • attempt to breach, overload, or reverse-engineer the service;
  • impersonate another business or person.

7. Availability

We work to keep CrumblyOS running, but we don’t promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features. If we make a material change that meaningfully reduces what you’re paying for, we’ll give you reasonable notice.

8. Ending the agreement

You may stop using CrumblyOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will explain why unless we’re legally prevented from doing so. On closure you can request an export of your store data — see the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers and liability

CrumblyOS is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for lost profits or lost sales.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material we’ll notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
